Working with these homeowners twice offered us the opportunity to create new and different transitions to the dappled light and gardens surrounding their shingled Queen Anne-style landmark. Expanded footprint housing kitchen, sitting room, butler’s pantry and mudroom open the west onto a long wood porch arbor covered in akebia vines, and the redesigned sunroom opens to south light filtered by a custom steel arbor supporting a wisteria.
