Here are a few of the many residential projects we’ve designed, from new and renovated houses on the shore to new and reimagined mixed-rate apartments in urban neighborhoods. Collaborating with people on their home turf is the most personal of design relationships. People tell us that we’re good listeners. Our conversations begin with understanding the needs and wants that fuel imagination and then move to context, literally from the ground up - what is the character of the site, the landscape? What’s special about it? Where’s the sun, the light, the view, and the breeze? We make every square foot count and have been featured in the Not So Big House series, both Inside and Outside. We work with clients and builders through construction, carrying design right down to the doorknobs you touch every day, and bring access to a range of skilled craftspeople and trade resources to make each project unique. We’ve relished the opportunity to design several gardens hand in glove with houses. Our work has been widely recognized by local and national press, books, TV, and awards.
