Residence, Duxbury MA
Our own house and garden have been a laboratory for renovation and expansion, making new modern spaces to complement the original structure, an 1879 cottage built as a summer getaway on the grounds of a Victorian beach hotel and moved in 1917 to the site of 17th-century Pilgrim farm. Energy improvements throughout are ‘invisible’ in the new wings and the original cottage.
