Never a day without a line! For an architect, drawings must communicate with accuracy to those who build. While my youthful efforts outside work also focused on honing depictions, subsequent summer workshops at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown have loosened my hand to search beyond the pictorial for the essence – and grapple with how to express my concern for a world careening out of control.... So slow down, look, see, remember, savor the moment, engage with meaning of place in an immediate, intimate way to enhance the power of observation.
